Work Package 4

Dissemination and exploitation of results

The dissemination of the LaserMicroFab results to the public and the scientific community will be performed through a significant number of actions.

Description of work

The dissemination of the LaserMicroFab results to the public and the scientific community will be performed through a significant number of actions including:

  • Organization of 3 workshops (NTUA, CNRS, OL)
  • Publication of the results to scientific periodicals, journals and key conferences in Europe and International
  • Outreach activities (1 event for each researcher for each year) including open days organised by NTUA, OL, and CNRS, lectures on the high schools, the undergraduate and postgraduate students, public talks, articles in newspapers, etc (detailed description is presented in B.5.3)
  • Establish the consortium agreement which will cover all IP-related issues, i.e. the definition and handling of background, ownership of foreground, as well as its use and dissemination, access rights and confidentiality matters.
  • Exploitation activities: development of the new processes on new hybrid organic/inorganic markets

Risk Analysis

The main risk on this WP is related to the application of the developed processes at an industrial level and their successful commercial exploitation. Another (minor) risk is related to the acceptance of the planned scientific publications in high impact factor journals. In both cases, at the review of the project at the midterm review, corrective actions will be decided, if needed.
